 New batch of string winders
« Thread Started on Nov 2, 2009, 7:14pm »

These are Brazilian rosewood with brushed brass handles. $50 each. Very nice gift for any guitar player but I did design them for classical guitars. I still have 2 maple and 1 Koa from last years batch $40 each. marty@thepodium.com

I have been testing the new winders on steel string tuners. They do not fit over Grover Rotomatic buttons, Gotoh or Schaller ebony buttons. They work fine on all Waverly tuners and Gotoh Vintage style, Schaller metal buttons and the Ping tuners used on lower end Martin's and Larrivee's. Last years winders will work on almost everything.

BTW, Yesterday my winder broke, it was just like the maple one pictured above. That winder has been dropped, stepped on, sat on and kicked across the shop floor many times. I used the old handle parts and installed one of the rosewood heads. Should one of my winders break, without good cause, send me the handle parts and I will install a new head and return it to you.
