Todd I will very much miss having the opportunity to share chords with you this weekend!!!
Yes, you are a wise (and loving) man to understand that Kim needs your presence...although I suspect she knows how important these gatherings are to you (as does my own MrR) and truly would give her blessing to your heading north to attend.
I am still not sure whether I will be able to come to IJam...waiting to see if we are included on the guest list for a wedding for the high school friend of our son...I sure hope I can get there as there is a contingency of SH that I would love to add to the list of "people I know" from this fun forum I've enjoyed these past several months.

I hope you can make it to Ijam, Resolve. I've arranged an IEP for that Saturday afternoon.

As I mentioned in a phone conversation with Bill last week, I won't be able to attend (DAMMIT!!!!) Kim's back is not healing as quickly as we thought, and she's wandering around the house in quite a bit of pain. She can't ride in a car nearly that far, but has said I could go. For those of you that have been married know, that "go ahead and go" has layers of meaning, many which I wish not to disturb. I'll be a smart guy, stay home and take care of her. Todd.....there is just absolutely nothing wrong with that decision. I'm sure Kim will appreciate your being there for her. Besides..... it's the right thing to do. You won't miss being at RoseJam any more than the rest of us that can't make it. It will just amplify your excitement about IdiotJam. And you damn well better not try to weasel your way out of that! Oh yeah.....forgot.....that's in your town. ;D

Todd, sorry to hear you won't be making it, but I think you made the right choice. Otherwise, it'd be an early frost settling in on Vinton when you returned.

I may have to go into the office today, waiting to hear about how the workload looks, but I did manage to assure them that I cannot work a full shift, no way.
It's gray and cool, but not terribly unhospitable, and the weather for tomoro looks ideal -- sunny and high of 78.
YAY!

We are in dire need of outdoor-type extension cords, folks. Bring all you can spare, please!
Might wanna mark them as yours somehow, too.
THANKS!
p.s. We are still looking at 7:30 to 10 or so tonight in the back room of Ol Mexico. You come in the main entrance, bear to the faraway left corner for the doors leading to that room.

I think I've got a couple cords. I'll throw them in the car.

I can bring one, too. It even has my name on it already.
