I always use the thumbpick, Dub. The bumblebee works so well as both flat pick and thumbpick, I just feel kind of naked without it.

Of course! I forgot you are a Bumblebee user. Those haven't been around all that long. What did you do before they were available? - Dub

Pined for one. I feel like I waited my entire life for one - I kept looking. Never did like the Dunlop style heavy picks. I either used my thumb, or I flatpicked.

I know, Bill, and the disgusting thing is that you're damn good at it. What I need to do is practice following a song someone else is playing, but by the time I figure out what's going on the song is over.
By the way, some friends were at the Nova the other day, and told me they heard Lonnie play because "the regular guy" had surgery. I guess they've been there enough to think of you as "the regular guy."

Rick,
We're getting ready to head to Idaho this weekend, so that wouldn't work for us either. When are you here in August?

Second week, I think? Have to find out the exact dates. I'll let you know. We're staying at the Siesta.

The week that includes the 13th I'm in Ottawa (Saturday to Saturday), other than that I'm in town and would love to get together sometime.

At least there won't be six feet of snow in Ottawa at that time of year.
Paul, of course, that's the week we're there. Classic. I'll get the exact dates.
