In the movie "I Am Number Four." I'm not sure why. I'm only partway through the movie but the protagonist just went there to meet someone. I don't think he's buying pottery.

I am pretty sure that is the address of John's kiln. Was there a tall, guitar playing man with clay all over his hands in the scene?

I used to go to Boy Scout camp (Camp Krietenstein) in Poland, Ind., which Mapquest says is 175 road miles southwest of Warsaw.
As I recall, Dillinger and a compatriot raided the police station in Warsaw and relieved it of several guns and bullet-proof vests.

Yup Dillinger made Warsaw famous back when. And down the road (25 -- on which I live) in Rochester, Capone had a lake house on Manitou.

And Grand Rapids, MI is the setting for the movie "30 Minutes or Less" being released this weekend. Check it out and look for Tamarak. I know I'm not in the movie but he might be. He's better looking.

They're actually filming a movie down in Terre Haute, Ind., where I went to college. (I grew up 30 miles from there.) It's called "The Drunk" and it is about the mythical grandson of Eugene Debs running for governor against a corrupt prosecutor, played by Tom Sizemore. The person cast as the outgoing governor: None other than Minnesota's own Jesse Ventura. He filmed his scenes earlier this week and then drove back to Minnesota. He doesn't like flying these days because he has a suit pending in federal court against the TSA because they do the grope-search on him since he has a titanium hip.
It'll be good to see what scenes they show of Terre Haute in the movie, though. Spent a lot of time there. I've even played the coffee shop there, the Coffee Grounds, a couple of times.
