A mystery man had a birthday today that seemed to go unnoticed on the forum probably because he is sneaky enough not to have listed it anywhere. At the risk of making him mad, and having him hit me with a freshly thrown piece of pottery, I have decided to give hints as to who he is so he can be wished a happy one before the day is totally over.
He is tall, women seem to think he is handsome which I just totally do not understand, he is a potter, he lives in Warsaw, IN, he has a wife named Dar and a dog named Breeze. Did I mention he just got a new Shenk mandolin and has a Shenk guitar?
I will not mention that his name is John Milring Bauman because he did not give me permission to do so. I never do things without permission so I will not tell you it is John. You will have to guess on your own. That today is John's birthday, that is.
Happy Birthday, John! I hope I did not give it away.

Perhaps he hears a different drummer and does not wish to have an acknowledged birthday, no?
on Edith: I know of another guy like that.

Wish I knew of whom you speak, so I could wish him happy birthday, but alas, I have no idea... tough clues!

No one like that around here, that I can think of. Mike

Who could this man of clay be?
I hear there is a fella from Indiana who not only is good at throwing bits of clay, can pick a pretty good guitar too.
Oh yeah, he has been known to pen a few word about a years worth of Friday nights too.
Happy Birthday, spouse of Dar.

on Edith: I know of another guy like that. Typo or bizarre thread drift? Regarding the OP - it's his birthday when Dar says it's his birthday

There's a John Bauman on Facebook and he doesn't have a birthday listed there either. Maybe they're related. Happy Birthday, John whoever.

With all the things we seem to have in common, you'd think I'd at least have met the guy. Well, whomever he is, I hope he's had as nice a day as I've had.

John, every year I forget if it's Shannon and me, or you and me, who share a birthday, and then once I get that straightened out, I always forget how soon afterward yours arrives. Give me 10 years or so, I will learn this. Until then, please accept my best belated wishes.

I remembered it was your birthday because it's also the day Elvis died. You're birthday is a much happier occasion, of course. I'm trying to think of a joke to tie in the way Elvis died as well, but it's just not working.

Kisses to all.
Bill, I missed Sarad's (the 14th) for the same reason.
Bushouse, the 18th?
Thanks, LJ. I'll save you a piece of pie. Or maybe not.
