I had a Wechter Acoustic double cut-away guitar that had great electronics in. I loaned it to my nephew......well it came back with the action higher than it should have been. I ordered some dobro parts and turned it into an electric dobro for playing slide guitar on. I kept part of the original bridge and made a "bisquit" bridge out of it with the original under the saddle pickup. I put in a strat type pick-up in the neck position and it came with a microphone already inside and a pre-amp to handle all three pickups. With the double cut-away you get access to some of the higher frets. I cut two "f" holes on the upper bouts, but the openings provided do not seem to be enough for the guitar to breath. It sounds too tight and muffled. If I were to keep the guitar, I would add some more holes to open it up some. I have played it with the active electronics removed and it sounded much more open and airy. So it looks like the area of the electronics pad is about how much more opening that is needed. It comes with a hard shell case. I'm selling this one for $350. Photos.... www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2381520666149.2113826.1494674076&type=3&l=e801b232a2
