Happy Easter!
I stayed up late last night, but once again the Great Pumpkin disappointed. I will try to be more sincere next year.
Mass at 11, then over to the inlaws for the day.
Cheers!

Congrats Cyndy.
Dinner at the daughters place next door. Until then I think I'll work in the shop.

Congrats Resolve.
Up early to watch Paris Roubaix. Always a fun race to watch, Tom Boonen, takes a flyer with 50 km to go, and stays out front for the win as the rest of the pack apparently engages in some prolonged naval gazing rather than trying to chase him down.

Happy First Easter to Ella Sophia, her wonderful parents and her fortunate grandparents! Sunny day here, and I have a gorgeous, locally produced smoked ham roast warming up for its trip to Eau Claire. Have a wonderful holiday weekend, all!

Some people get cards or candy. Some get chicks or bunnies. Some get a new granddaughter. It will be hard to top that next year. Congratulations, Cyndy.
Homemade oatmeal apricot muffins this morning. Lamb tonight. Not doing much in between, except getting outside on this gorgeous day.

Congratulations, Cyndy! [You should get a large basket and lots of Easter grass and snap a picture ;-) ].
I'm trying to loosen up after riding my horse AND going to the golf driving range/pitching area yesterday (sort of overdid it)--this is our first decent weekend in a month (warm and sunny instead of cold, rainy, and windy). We've got a tee time this afternoon, but first we have church with the annual patio brunch between 1st and 2nd services!

Happy Easter and Congratulations, Cyndy!
Played a rock gig last night with a 5 piece band, great fun, out way too late, got up late this morning... it's a good day to be lazy.

Congrats Resolve!!!
For years, we would spend Easter with Kelly's parents in East Texas. Huge egg hunt after church. Every year the Methodist church would sing the same collection of Easter hymns. One comes to mind...
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way. He lives, He lives, salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.
Happy Easter.

Happy Easter.
Welcome to the world Ella Sophia.
The Tandberg Easter egg hunt is concluded. Basically. Once again, there are a couple eggs I hid that no one can find, including me. I wonder if Rusty has something to do with it.

Happy Easter and congrats to Cyndy. That covers the bulk of today's notable events. Ken Larsson.....that is funny stuff right there. Easter services were well attended, especially the second service at close to 450. Nice sized crowd to play for. The worship band backed up the adult and kids choirs and they were singing really good this morning. Always fun. During communion, I played a solo on You Are My Hiding Place for the first service. But being a 2 part round type of song, it was barely long enough to last for the time needed while they served about 125 folks.....so I knew it would never stretch for second service. So with no prior rehearsal time I winged a version of O, the Deep Deep Love of Jesus and morphed it into You Are My Hiding Place. Worked pretty good. As soon as I'm done here I'll download the software for the new video camera and see if I can post the video Barb shot of the music.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. The new family is now safely tucked at home, glad to be away from the pokes and prods of a hospital stay.
Ella is amazing. VERY content alert and loves to look at faces and have people talk to her. I sure am liking this whole granddaughters thing a WHOLE lot! ;D
