Maybe about 45 years ago, my brother's car, just sitting in it since he'd've never let me actually drive it: Now THAT is what a sports car is supposed to look like. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Wish I could but it's not going to happen. Depending on what kind of damage the TD took from Sandy that might be a great deal for someone. If it was in good shape before the storm, even if you had to tear the engine down it wouldn't be that expensive to fix and otherwise it's probably just clean-up work.

My claptrap 3000, though no great accelerator, could cruise at goodly clip.
The doors flew open on vigorous corning. Always exciting.

In the flush of our courtship days, my now ex, had an MGB that looked at lot like that one Chesapeake posted. I remember one weekend we were toodling around town having a blast in the corners. We had her family dog in the back. A Scottie named Duffy. Duffy was the perfect ambience for the vehicle and what's more Duffy was pleased with the image appeal of being seen toodling around town in the back of the MGB.
After a number of blood curdling twists and turns we looked in the back and discovered Duffy was missing....omg!! So we retraced our tracks and sure enough there was Duffy sitting on a corner looking disgruntled and annoyed. He evidently flew out of the back like a tiddly wink.
Smart dog though. He knew. Just stay where you are and they'll figure it out and come back. Even if his dignity was somewhat ruffled.

Now I'm digging through old pictures I have not seen in years. The race video of Bill's reminded me of some rallys we did in CO. Our favorite was an all day event that went through the mountains and they had a keg at every checkpoint so everyone was pretty lit up at the end. I found a shot at one of the starts. We wore crazy outfits. Here's my navigator having a smoke at the finish overlooking Boulder.
