...My guess is it was somewhere along the southern arc over the Indian Ocean headed southeast. In which case it probably continued until it ran out of fuel and crashed....
The location where the satellite spotted debris is about where you would expect debris if the above theory is right.

Son of a bitch! They may have located this thing. At least the general area. Ocean Shield heard two distinct pings and for a couple hours of duration in the general area first located by the Chinese ship. Still a race against time. Pingers are about due to expire.

When I was a little kid and we got the telegram advising us that my great grandmother had "expired," I always wondered if she had to pay up some over due fees. You've heard of the 'widow's hump?'
