G'mornin' - I remember when Sundays were the sleep-in day 2nd only to Saturday. Where did they go? More gardening if it's not raining later. Hope y'all are enjoying the holiday weekend, lots of extra people on the island opening their vacation homes, ready for summer. Lots of boats on the channel celebrating the start of 'summer'. Driving to the ferry earlier this week I was held up by this mother and child:

Morning. My son is still here and I'm enjoying the visit--plus we are getting a lot done that I couldn't do by myself. I may be able to get out for a little ride later.

Morning
Going to rearrange the shop today and see if I can utilize the space a little better. Oldest grandson Tyler will come by and help. My daughter remarried and her new husband had grown kids, Tyler being one. Tyler is a guitar player and guitar tinker, needless to say he totally freaked out when he found out who his step grandfather was. Took me a while to get the kid to relax, he finally did and now is thrilled with having a real guitar workshop to tinker in. He is even starting to listen to some acoustic music, maybe I can ween him off the Heavy Metal.
Also: With Supertramp taking a long absence from the forum I felt the need to appoint anther Moderator. Our new Mod is Tamarack.

Good Morning Good People
A beautiful Sunday morning on the SE side of Grand Rabbits. Not a quiet Sunday morning however. A neighbor just fired up a chain saw followed by a thump as a large tree or large branch fell. Earlier another neighbor was practicing saxophone. The bagpiper a couple of blocks west usually doesn't kick in until late afternoon.
Might go to church if I can stop coughing. Definitely doing something outdoors today whilst the other residents of this branch of Estrogenia are otherwise occupied. Maybe a hike or bike ride or might just take a stringed instrument beside a large body of water.
I shall do my able best as a moderator. I'm a moderate guy.
Have a serene Sunday one and all.

Update -- there are now two chain saws running. Together they form a chord, or at least an open fifth or power chord.

I shall do my able best as a moderator. I'm a moderate guy. Congratulations. I think it's best to start with banning a few people, and better yet to ban people who didn't even do anything. My plan for today is to do all the things I had planned on doing yesterday. I probably won't get to any of them, but by tomorrow I ought to have the planning stage down pretty well.

Sounds peachy, Tam. Got to love the sound of chainsaws in the morning.....
I will play some guitar today. And, even better, going to our friends house for dinner, the fellow who is building my tenor. It is ready for pickup. Can't wait. It looks amazing in photos, hopefully will play and sound the same. Time for something a bit different.
Strat is back on the stand, front finish reapplied, curing. Got to wait two weeks to buff the front and put the electronics in, and finally get to play it.

An awesome responsibility Tam. It could be a game changer on your CV and open doors you never knew existed.

I've been up, working on the garden. I was lazy last fall, and have been lazy this spring. Today it will all be done. Or maybe tomorrow.
