What, I have to do this again? Good morning. Woodshedding for a bunch of gigs, including one with Scarlet Rivera. Got to learn 30 songs in a week.

Lonnie, you are the official Clever Daily Thread Title Generator. If I started the thread, it would be the same, boring day and date title all the time. Besides, I write my dates all European like and it makes the xenophobes nervous. Next you all will accuse me of liking soccer and warm beer. Wait... Too late.
Up and awake. If anyone has a quick way to convince somebody you know is an alcoholic and most likely suffering from some form of mental illness to go get help, I'm all ears! The frustrating part? If this guy were one of my soldiers, a simple order and an escort to the doctors would get the process started, heartless bastards we military people are.

I am up. No need to worry about me like everyone did yesterday. No need to call or send emails or have the police do a wellness check like yesterday. I am here. Up early. Coffee in front of me, which is better than a frontal lobotomy (old joke-it's early)and I am ready to pick out the socks I will wear today. Enjoy it.

Sitting on the porch overlooking Bethany Bay and watching a middle-age couple tried to load their standard poodle and themselves into a tandem kayak. Trip lasted maybe 10 minutes before they had to reverse the process and stow it all away.

Good Morning Good People
Cool and breezy after late-night thunderstorms. Gotta catch up on lots of work I didn't do yesterday whilst hanging out with Mizz Lola.
Enjoy Alaska Cornflake!
Have a wondrous Wednesday one and all.

Got just a hint of rain last night. Nothing measurable since July 12. We need more.

I did not hear it, but it must have rained here last night. It is cool and breezy today and the driveway is wet. Both are hints that it might have rained.

Morning all!
I'm doing sound for "Steel Magnolias", and it has been an interesting run so far. Monday night, we had to stop partway into act 2 and send everyone down to the basement because the tornado sirens went off (no tornado). Last night, one of the actors mic transmitters got its channel switched during intermission and when she came out for act two, two transmitters were sharing a channel, which isn't good. I had to turn them both off, lower the other actors some, pull out a new transmitter set to a safe channel and have it run down to her in time for her first, short exit. There are times I hate mics.

Neighbor said it stormed here. I must have been really sleeping soundly. It rained here at 10:25 last night. I was on stage at a local open mic, and some other performer guy ran up on stage, in mid song, and rummaged through his gig bag for his car keys, and ran back off out the door to close the windows on his car. Just another open-mic adventure. (But I met a cool trio of guys that play Americana style music with a nice mando player in the group. Good guys. I like their music (Gillian Welch and such. And they stuck around to hear me and hunted me down afterwards and paid a nice compliment or two).

G'mornin' - pleasant visit with Doug yesterday, looking forward to more of the same today. It's raining now, with luck it'll stop sometime today - unusual to have rain now, wish I could send it to Arizona.
