Worked with someone who did the full side comb over. He only had a fringe left that he grew long, then plastered it down with gel. Was, um, ridiculous.

You forgot to name those comb overs. The Waldo Pepper. The Wolfman. The French Poof Loop. The Last Desperate Attempt. The Chewbacca. The Spanish Moss.

I knew a rather young guy who used to do the Wolfman and comb it forward from just above his collar. He sprayed it with enjoy hair spray to turn it into a rock hard helmet. I saw him in the wind once with the thing lifting up like a hair sail.

I was working years ago with a very well known singer who had what I thought was a full head of blood hair. We were driving near Chicago, piano player and I in the front seat, singer and his girlfriend in the back seat. We rolled down the front windows, only to hear a meek voice from the back say, "um, gentlemen, would you mind..." I looked back to see the singer's hair standing straight up like a row of autumn wheat attached to a cue ball. Best combover I'd ever seen.

Millring does not have a combover but he does wear a vinyl wig.

What I've never understood is a comb over and a toupee at the same time:

What I've never understood is a comb over and a toupee at the same time: Well if he has a comb over it's well hidden by a bad rug.

...the singer's hair standing straight up like a row of autumn wheat attached to a cue ball. Now that's a good description right there.

What I've never understood is a comb over and a toupee at the same time: It is like a belt and suspenders--extra security.
