Good morning.
Summer is here at last. Yesterday afternoon air 93F, pool 86F, Scotch on rocks probably 40-something F. Perfect. Today's about the same I guess. Open mic tonight, got to get a set together.

We are at Chopin Airport getting ready to board to Tallinn. We had a great time in Warsaw, and I'd come back again if I had the chance.

Absolutely beautiful morning here. Lower 70s. Not a cloud in the sky. Spose to be hotter later.
Nasty weather prognosticators say there's a report out that says because of the polar ice shield melting so much, that the Polar Vortex is likely to move off the top of the planet more often in winters to come. . . . . , just in case you needed something to worry about.

Good morning. Quite sure I'm not the only one who is pre buying their propane for the first time this year. Last year it got to the point for some folks where burning dollar bills might have been less costly.

Absolutely beautiful morning here. Lower 70s. Not a cloud in the sky. Spose to be hotter later. The Chicago area weather person warned "It will be extremely hot today with temperatures reaching all the way into the low 90s." If I'da had a gun I'da shot'er. Weathercasting has surpassed sportscasting for hyperbole.

G'mornin' - rainy days after by-passing the rain over the weekend, we should get another week or so of summer weather before the clouds blanket us for the winter. I'm not sure yet whether the 8 to 12 weeks of beautiful weather is worth the 40-44 weeks of dreary, damp, moss growing weather. I need to invest in some good wet weather gear, that might make a difference.

We just got back in from dinner in the old part of Tallinn. This place is beautiful, and so is the weather right now. We have a down day tomorrow, and I believe we may take a ferry across to Helsinki.

PaulS, I don't ignore the difficulty of your work, but it has its compensations, eh?

It does, Flake. This course has been a very positive experience so far, and has already changed the way I think about how we operate as a country. My peers at the course in Carlisle, PA just don't travel. This is the better deal for sure.
