Good Morning Good People
Tamarack reporting from the Frank family kitchen table. Chilly morning, clear when I woke up, starting to cloud over.
Fantastic concert at the Farmers Mercantile, perfect space and enthusiastic audience. Back at the Cobblestone we stuffed ourselves on Korean ribs (FactoryChef outdid himself)(the festering mustard was hotter than ever) and beer and stuff. Dr. Letson brought along some particularly fine whisk(e)y. Seems Bill and Jeff and Lars et al. got kinda loud with Beatles songs. Finally crawled into my tent around 2:30 AM with a bright moon overhead.
The only problem with IdiotJam is that it is always too short!
Off to breakfast at the Vinton Family Restaurant, after which we will clog the parking lot with farewells, thence the long road home.
Have a serene Sunday one and all.

And the tubes are the wrong ones. I asked for EL 84s and went home with something else. Scheisse. What a day.

Made it home safely. Been home for an hour actually. Eagerly awaiting Kate and Lars. They travel at their own pace.

Looks like IJam was a success. Hope y'all have many more.
A cooler 74 here today, great for golf but I scored 101. Could have used some putting luck. New England massacred Minnesota though so things could be worse. More golf planned tomorrow while the weather holds but soon I have to start concentrating on an hour-and-a-half's worth of decent music for Saturday.
May you travelers get home safely.

Just walked in the door at home. Lungs a little worse for wear from Iowa gravel roads and sinus problems from whatever the hell Iowa has that Minnesota doesn't. Very tired but it was well worth it. Going to my own bed early, I'll talk about IJ later.

Got home around 9:00 PM. 465 miles from Todd's butternut tree to my driveway. Musical companions on the road included Bill Hammond, Marshall Hjertstedt, Peter Ostroushko, Bonnie Raitt, and Ludwig Von Beethoven. Three hours of Sunday night housework and non-linear unpacking, and I am ready to collapse into bed. Gotta be at my desk about 8:00 AM, weekly scheduling meeting at 10:00 AM. More IdiotJam commentary to follow.
