Why send it to me as it appears to be in good condition.
Is it date stamped Mark?

Wow. Play by numbers. And who said Taylor invented the bolt on neck. Is that a proper uke tuning?

Why send it to me as it appears to be in good condition. It might need new rubber bands? On edit, it looks like a pretty cool thing to have.

Late 40s early 50s but that is just a guess. Harmony date stamps are usually ink stamped on the back just inside the sound hole. it should be a "F" or "S" followed by two digits. Near the neck block will be stamped four digits(batch #) then "H" and 2, 3 or 4 digits being the model number.

That is the original uke tuning, before we all dropped it down a step. Hawaiian guitars were also tuned to A, rather than G like modern day resophonic guitars.

It's the phenolic fingerboard with molded frets that is screwed on. Today, the Flea and Fluke ukes pay homage to the past and do the same thing, only using molded ABS instead. Works great, wears very well.

What's a lil guy like this worth? Check Ebay and the vintage shops. Quality wise your Harmony is fair but since it is most likely made of Birch not the best sounding. Reson8 could pipe in here as he works at a vintage shop.
