Stand on Zanzibar again. The fictional revolutionary author in this book recommends a real book, Richardson 'Statistics of Deadly Quarrels.' Tried to look it up. No reviews, and Amazon only had a few used copies, the cheapest of which was greater than $200. Is this a war college text?

Doc, it's not in my book issue. I may go poke into the library here at Leavenworth to see whether they have a copy.

Just looked. It is in the library here. It was published in 1960.
From Wiki: Lewis Fry Richardson, FRS[1] (11 October 1881 – 30 September 1953) was an English mathematician, physicist, meteorologist, psychologist and pacifist who pioneered modern mathematical techniques of weather forecasting, and the application of similar techniques to studying the causes of wars and how to prevent them. He is also noted for his pioneering work concerning fractals and a method for solving a system of linear equations known as modified Richardson iteration.[2]

Todd, Todd, Todd. My swagger is all inboard. The alternative is a misdemeanor in most states.
