G'mornin' - I'm reminded of the first koan I learned when I was in first or second grade: Today is the Tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

G'mornin' - I'm reminded of the first time I learned what a koan was: I had just logged onto the Soundhole daily and there it was. So I googled it.

G'mornin' - I'm reminded of the first time I learned what a koan was: I had just logged onto the Soundhole daily and there it was. So I googled it. Dennis is such a koanhead. Today is actually the tomorrow I was looking forward to yesterday, seeing as how it's my last workday before two weeks of acation-vay. Very early Sunday, the plan is, I shall get in the car and drive to central Indy-ana, then on to Charleston, WV, overnighting there Monday, then to Greensboro and Elderdottir's world. Few days there, then to Hendersonville and Yungerdottir's world, she of the third trimester!

We used to sing a drunken ditty when I was in grade school called Show Me the Way to go Koan. We just sang that over and over but it was the Ripple wine singing, not us. Have a good one--as good as a double dip koan.

It's almost like being Kentucky cousins without being married.

So I googled it. a paradox to be meditated upon that is used to train Zen Buddhist monks to abandon ultimate dependence on reason and to force them into gaining sudden intuitive enlightenment

I got sudden intuitive enlightenment the first time someone tried to shoot me, I didn't need no koan.

I like US 35 from Dayton to just outside Charleston. Zero traffic and just 14 mi of 2 lane. How many miles a day on these jaunts? I did 820 yesterday in 14 hours finishing in Chicago rush hour

I like Bill's day 2 & 3.
I can remember driving 14 hr days but now 6 hr is a fine day. So I generally do about 350-400 miles a day.
