I'd forgotten that it's less than two weeks away until Bill mentioned it last night. Who's going? I guess I am (and I have to reserve a nearby no-tell room if I'm going to stay late--).

I don't see me being able to break away and get up there. Plus I haven't figured how to strap a guitar to the motorcycle yet.
I had a great time a couple years ago when I went.

Silly, you strap the guitar to YOU! Lash a gig bag to your back. Makes an excellent airfoil, taking pressure off the tires and allowing you to virtually "float" down the road. (Watch out for headwinds; you might become airborne.)

So, who is going to be there this Saturday? Barb and her high-school junior daughter (an outstanding singer herself) will be there, Letson is on board, Swanny veteran and good guitar buddy Lee Mensinger is driving over from Red Wing, and young songwriter Davis Jones plans to attend. Radtke, you in? I think Marty has a conflict, and McManus is gonna be outta town. Details: acoustictalk.proboards85.com/index.cgi?board=gather&action=display&thread=1174912152

Yup! I have all sorts of grandkids staying the weekend, I can just imagine the trouble they could get into at a Jam.

I've got a boy scout project and a wedding reception that day, so I'm probably not going to be able to squeeze this one in.

I have to work that Saturday, dammit. I had a great time when I went a couple years ago. Looks like the weather is going to be around perfect for this year.

I can't get back from the UK for this one, but my wife said (potentially) I can go to Idiot Jam.

318 miles from Leavenworth to Vinton, about a 5 hour drive if you obey the speed laws.

Marty,
I already Yahooed it. I have some training that runs through the 13th, and the 14th is a day off according to the guys I am going to work for. If everything falls into place, I'll be there.

Grandkids won't be coming over until about 5:00 so I might just drop by Orchard Jam for a little while.
