...is here.
I know you're not jazzers, but we saw John Faddis earlier. I had 4-5 years of trumpet lessons way back when, and I never would have believed you could get those sounds out of one.

I'm not really sure it's "Jazz" or exactly what it is but I have a tradition which started when we bought our first house in 1978. As soon as the stereo is unpacked I put on Chuck Mangione's "The Children of Sanchez" album, turned up to at least 8 and when the kettle drums hit and the flugel horn hits, see is any windows break. That's just to remind me why I don't live in apartments. This being our 4th house and in the middle of nowhere, I think I turned it up to 10.
Still cold here but a lot better than is was a couple of days ago. I might go to the golf course.
Have a good Sunday.

Well I'z here. Friday I foolishly booked myself for a gig this coming Tue. Foolish in that I haven't played out with the exception of IJ since last October 13 mo. is a long time to keep ready. Oh well I will survive and not play anything so bad I have to rip my clothes and run out of the building. Damn full gig is 40-45 songs. Maybe Itty Bitty Tittie 40 times.

G'mornin' - lots of wood to move/make into firewood/stack and all of it for next year, except for the wood from last year that I get to move closer to the stove, with luck it'll only rain a little bit. Have a good sunday one and all

Good morning. I'll be skipping church because it's pledge season. We've made ours and I don't want to hear it any more. Coffee with a friend this afternoon. Have a good day.

Good Morning Good People
Cloudy and chilly, most snow and ice has melted from paved surfaces.
Taking the snowblower in for service after my repair attempts failed. The governor isn't governing and it won't blow snow. Repairs are backed up for a month. This will guarantee a snowy December and a sore back.
Off to church and more household and winterizing chores.
Have a serene Sunday one and all.

Morning
Got a few errands to do so I'll get out early before the rain/snow starts. Monday driving will not be fun. Need a new filter for the shop humidifier, which should be keeping the place up to 40% but is not. If that doesn't solve the problem I'll be buying another humidifier and running both.

I'm off to play Santa today to help raise money for the animal shelter. See you there, FC.

Good morning. There's heavy ground fog that reaches almost to the roofs of the houses. The neighborhood looks like a ghost story. (and WX5 wind controller too) Well, that's certainly a more discreet name than Poo-Pourri, but it's a little early in the morning for that much information.

We shipped in the fog to dissuade Aaron Rodgers from throwing any passes this afternoon, but it probably won't work. I have cooking and cleaning to do in the meantime. At least the humidity in my house is up there, at 45 percent, for a change. Good day to let the guitars out to breathe a bit.

'Mornin. Nice day. Went to breakfast with my honey, then walk/jogged the 3 miles home. Legs are feelin' it, but got to get ready for the Turkey Trot 5K and in January, the Hangover 5k and ocean dip. A bit of a chore as I gained 10 pounds during our house purchase and move. Stress eating and no excercise seems to do that to me.

Up and awake, and have been so for a while. We went to see Mockingjay last night, as one would with a house full of teens and pre-teens. This morning Claire and I went to the gym. She decided to run home. I passed her on the way, and she promptly called me to turn around and pick her up.

I knew the humidifier needed a filter because it had the same one from last Spring still in it. But that filter should have worked, or would have if it wasn't totally blocked with mold/fungus or what ever the hell that is. It now has a new filter and a good shot of bleach in there, no sign of the mold stuff anywhere else, just the filter.

I use hydrogen peroxide. To me,It seems to make the air fresher. And kills the mold.
Good idea Bob, but since I have bleach in there now I'll wait until after I clean it. Some little warning signal goes off in my head about mixing bleach and hydrogen peroxide.
