Happy anniversary indeed. Treat that lady to something (even more) special.

Happy Anniversary, Dar and John. I'm trying to catch up. I'm up to 34 January 15. It is deeply satisfying to maintain a relationship that long.

If you add all mine up, they come close to 38. But seriously, congratulations!

One of the nice things about being married to Chris is that she can't remember the date of our Anniversary either, so through the years we've settled for somewhere near the end of August. That relieves me of a whole bunch of chances to screw up.

Thanks guys. We're off to eat lunch out. This evening is Dar's dog club Xmas dinner. Congratulations! But, I am confused. I've seen pictures of Dar and she is quite attractive. How did she get into a dog club? Is she the token pretty girl?

I hope you paid and did not make Dar break out the money. I have seen you eat. Dar eats about 1/26th of what you do, so you should be paying at least 25/26ths of the bill. Besides, she has stuck with you all these years so she deserves lunch and dinner out about 3 times a week.

Hmph. Short-timer. Wait 'til you've been married for a long time--then you'll really appreciate it.
