Good morning. I'm tired this morning but I was warned to expect that. I guess the adrenalin I've been living on is wearing off. I wasn't planning to do anything today anyway so I think some naps are in order. Started working on Recuerdos last night but even the classical guitar hits the bandages on my belly so that takes the fun out of it really quick. Still staying away from the pain pills in hopes of getting Scotch approved as a beverage soon.

Good morning. Every year, a couple thousand bike riders participate in a 7 day tour of Colorado called Ride The Rockies. The route changes every year ... we found out yesterday that our little town of Westcliffe not only appears as a stop on the tour for the first time, but is the final stop of the tour. That's big news for a town of 750.

Heyyyyy.....
Beauteous day here. On our way to 70º. What has been the nastiest chest cold in recent years is finally subsiding. If it wasn't already a pain in the butt breathing already, this did NOT help.
Cooked up 7 lbs. of country style pork ribs (pseudo-ribs, just slabs of pork butt)overnight in the crockpot. Now cooking 2 lbs. of pinto beans. Will add the pork, more onion, garlic, cumin, a little chili powder, few crushed red peppers, cilantro and lime. Will later consume copious amounts of this mixture rolled up in flour tortillas. This may also warrant a couple of Coronas.

Morning. Yesterday was sunny and mid 50's so we loaded up and spent a few hours at the gun range then had dinner in town. Shoulder is a little sore this morning but good times. Today is back to blah and rainy.

G'afternoon! Four errands, practicing The Star-Spangled Banner, listening AA friends at Monday Madness 6pm. Baby steps. Oh, by the way... T-Bob's post reminded me. I am celebrating 18 years of sobriety today. Baby steps are all that's required... just leave out the falling down part.
