No surprises here. 92% Republican, 90% Constitutional, and 79% Libertarian. Then a couple points apiece for the government overreach parties. Don't know how that last bit got in there.

Right-Wing "Your political beliefs would be considered strongly Right-Wing on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote economic freedom and a society based on morals and values."
Okay, but isn't that a touch cloying? It's not like there are folks out there advocating policies that promote economic bondage and a society devoid of morals & values. Right? Um, right?

The analysis is certainly a bit vague, like a horoscope, and could be addressed at people all over the political spectrum. Morals and values vary considerably as do thoughts about economic freedom.
Edit - I'm a Pisces so obviously I said that.

Okay, but isn't that a touch cloying? It's not like there are folks out there advocating policies that promote economic bondage and a society devoid of morals & values. Right? Um, right? That's what I was getting at with my last post. These polarized views of political beliefs almost without exception carry with them the idea that the goal is the defining element when that's simply not true. The defining element is the solution. The goal is quite often the same thing. That's why we have allowed such mistaken beliefs creep into the rhetoric such that if you are against a particular war or want to cut funding to the military you must be unpatriotic, or if you don't believe that affirmative action is a good solution or in the best interest of minorities you are a racist -- when in both (and most such) cases, exactly the opposite is true, but we're arguing the best way to get to the goal.

I find myself somewhere to the middle of everyone else. I don't care which party wins the next presidential election but I find it inconceivable that more than a dozen people would even consider putting the Clintons back in power. I don't think it matters that much whether Tweedledee or Tweedledum runs the racket but anyone running a private racket should be beyond the pale. If it's time to have a woman president, Warren may be flaky but she doesn't appear corrupt. At least not Clinton corrupt. Fiorina may have been fired by HP but that just means she'd be used to it if she only lasted one term.

The values that define left and right are ever shifting, and annoying. I would love a party that is fiscally responsible, and socially libertarian. I don't care who sleeps with who, or marries who, and the abortion debate is over for me. But the parties to the left here who support that want national daycare. The party to the right is run by a tinpot dictator, who is a fundamentalist.
