Bummer. I got stuck with a smoking room. And even that was pulled from me before I could click it. (One of youse guyz). So I took the next smoking room. (Yuck). There's only one smoking room left @ Modern.
My room's got two twins. I'll share it with somebody, if someone is in need. Preferably Beyonce, if she's coming. Though, it is listed as "smoking," but I won't allow such while I'm booked there. (Except Beyonce can do whatever she likes.)

Urbana, IA 52345, (319) 443-8888. We know the place as everybody stayed here before the Cobblestone was built.
I found a few other places somewhat nearby, sorry, don't know what they are like.

I have info from the Cobblestone. They have a wedding party that has reserved a block of 21 rooms for Friday, that does not mean they are all booked. On Aug. 28 any unreserved rooms from that party will be available to us. According to the Cobblestone management the normal outcome is if they block 15 rooms 3 will get reserved by the party, so out of 21 rooms there will probably be 12 to 15 rooms available on Aug 29. They know we want these rooms and are very pleased to have us back so hang in there folks and either Todd or I will keep you updated on this.

This will be two weeks out from Ijam, so my suggestion would be to wait, and most likely there'll be a room. In the meantime, I'm thinking, here. It takes me a while, but occasionally I do come up with ideas. I'll keep y'all posted. |
