Chris says I can't drive the VW. She doesn't want me on the road in a 50 yr old car. I keep telling here it's only 48.
I think she just want's to run around in the VW while I'm gone.

I don't blame Chris at all, Doug. While it's a really cool car, and I wish I had one, I wouldn't consider it safe at all for cross-country interstate driving.
In the meantime, all please check the thread newly posted to the top.
Oh, and it looks like I'm number 4.

From here to Tucumcari, after that I can and do mostly travel 2 land black top no matter what I'm driving. But on the "if Mama ain't happy nobody is happy" system I'm driving the HHR. And I would miss the advantages, interstate at 80 vs 70, AC, CD player. I've gotten where I don't miss the push the button on the fob at all, I mostly use the key on the HHR too. The thing I miss when we drive the HHR is visibility the VW has effectually no blind spots.

Have a great weekend all. I am off to Yankton SD and then on to the wilds of western NE.

Number 48 here. Maybe 73 as well if I get a daughter to come.
(I'm not going to be constrained by your sequential number system. I order my numbers by rank of sincerity, and 48 and 73 are very sincere.)

I'm confused. Now I don't know what number I am. It's okay though as Jeff decided to hog the sincere numbers.
Anyway, I'm planning to attend. It will be good to see all of you again.

To my extreme disappointment, I will not be able to attend IJam this year. My plans were contingent on a number of variables that have not aligned as I intended. But there's always 2016.

Completely understood, Howard. But if we have it next year, it'd be a much more relaxing time for you to come.
