It's always been one of my favorite songs. I've never heard anyone improve on the near-perfect Campbell recording, but I've heard a number of covers I like quite a lot. Coincidentally, this morning I was greeted on facebook with Dave McCarty's posting of what might be my favorite cover of the song.
