I order my little blue pills from Canada. The US version is $25 a pop (**chuckle**). The generics are not available in the US are $5 each. DUHWell I go for another refill and the chick on the phone says they only accept American Express. I said I'd ordered before and that was never the case. She said sorry. I said I'd take my biz elsewhere. Soes I call another Canadian Pharmacy. I get some pharmacist on the line. It's after hours for them. (He actually sounded Canadian). I explain what I want. He says THE US GOVERNMENT HAS PUT PRESSURE ON US Credit Ccard COMPANIES SO THEY CAN'T DO BIZ WITH CANADIAN PHARMACIES. It affected them all. So they all now only take American Express. . . . , So, I hung up and went on-line to American Express to order a no-annual-fee card.

$5?
Wow! At that price my wang would probably fall off.
Only one way to find out. Canada here I come!
(how do you know which outfits are good and which ones sell powdered rat poison?)
(Ok, I know enough to stay away from anything from China)

If you Google Canadian Pharmacy, one of the first pop ups is a Canadian Pharmacy association that warns of the bad things and gives a list of good upstanding members. Maybe that's a scam. But probably not. It looks official enough. And their members have been up-standing ( ) so far. As a prolog to the above story, I've just faxed to my local pharmacy a request for a few of the legit spendy versions to tide me over until the Amex-Canadian deal can be consummated. I'm planning on a big night tonight. WOO HOO

By popular demand, here's a PM I just responded to: Here's a link to the Canadian International Pharmacy Association. I think (hope) they are legit. They have a list of approved pharmacies www.cipa.com/The one I bought from before and was happy is onlincanadianpharmacy The second guy I called yesterday was at Canadadrugs. He actually sounded Canadian. I'll probably order from him when I get the Amex thing worked out. The onlincanadian person I talked to was Indian. I don't know where she was. I had ordered from them twice. Once I didn't receive the drugs but instead got a letter from some US Customs Official saying they had intercepted my illegal drugs. No recourse. No consequences. I contacted the online place, scanned them a copy of the letter and they sent me another shipment that came right through immediately. The US drug companies are not happy with this stuff. You cannot get a generic for the blue pill in the US yet. I don't kow when the patent runs out. But I'm sure it's a BIG money maker for somebody.

Little blue pills? Viagra? The liquor store near me sells a tablet called "Horny Goat Weed" for something like $3 a bottle.

Hope you're livin' large. The patent on the composition ran out a few years ago, but there is still a method of use patent active, owned by Pfizer. It runs out in 2020, but Pfizer reached an agreement with Teva that in 2017 Teva could sell a generic. In 2012 Viagra generated about $1.14 billion in U.S. sales and more than $2 billion worldwide. When Lipitor went generic, US revenues dropped from $5 billion to less than $1 million. Cialis also goes off patent in 2017.

For the heck of it I'll go further down the rabbit hole with you. The local pharmacy charged me $207 (including tax) for 5 tablets. That's $41 each. (No insurance covers it ) My pending order with the On-line Canadian Pharmacy is for $229 for 96 generic tablets. That's $2.40 each DUH

$40 a pop is robbery. I hope the night went well. For that price you could hire. But, I suppose you'd still want the pill, so, never mind.
Don't use those U.S. pills up right away, save some to compare with the Indian pills you ordered from a call center in Canada.
If they say "Viagra" on them, they aren't legit generics, they are knockoffs from a lab in India or somewhere. I'm doubtful that there are legit generics from Teva (or whoever) available yet, but if there are, they sure the dickens can't put the name "Viagra" on them. The patent may expire on sildenafil, but the name "Viagra" is trademarked and Pfizer will be guarding that like a rottweiler. So, if the pills say "Viagra" and they don't come dear and direct from Pfizer, they are a counterfeit pill from an off-shore lab somewhere.
If it is a good lab producing a product for a decent bunch of crooks, it will contain sildenafil, in varying amounts that will likely bear little relationship to whatever the claimed dose is. If it is a dodgy lab and the product is ordered by some quick in and out bastards, it may just be chalk and some questionable dye.
But, there are labs and importers that want repeat business, so the knockoffs could be fine. Let us know. (well, not everything, no measurements, just a general thumbs up or thumbs down, So to speak.)
(It was great. I could hang my coat on it.)
Tracking down what is what is not in Viagra World is not easy. There are so many fake websites and planted stories. But, if Teva does start producing a generic Viagra legally and legitimately, the pill won't have "Viagra" stamped on it, and it won't cost $2.50 a pill and it won't come in 12 different dosages and there won't be a soft chewable version.

In India and thereabouts, if anyone has a trip planned, they are remarkably cheap. Sildenafil citrate (Viagra) is sold under the silly name 'Manforce', and is sold with condoms in the box but there is also stuff called kamagra that is cheaper and works. Erm... apparently. (It does).
