I could tell you which one is the best, but that would just be codling you. If you chose unwisely, it will make you stronger.

I also like the full-on 3D look of #2.

On second thought. Yup. 3.

I'm leaning toward #3. It may not be as Spartan! as the others, but the curvy typography not only grabs the eye but is reminiscent of the twists and turns of a Grand Prix racetrack, thereby invoking the notion of speed. And, uh, the company is called Speed Binder. After all.

I voted #1, but would recommend you maybe rework the graphic a little to be a subliminal man with an erection. Oh wait, I see you've done that already. Like Camel cigarettes?

#2 is kind of a direct rip off of the Green Bay packaging logo. Just sayin'. Or Steve Jobs’ NeXT logo from 1990. I think that 3D cube idea got used a lot. Reminds me of the cover of Douglas Hofstadter’s book “Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid.”

Here's an idea; Italicise the "speed" in whatever font/logo you choose. You know to connote m o t i o n. Afterall it's the SPEED in Speed Binder that sets you apart.

No, it's the addictive fumes given off by that cheap Chinese vinyl they use. You can't buy just one. I never go anywhere without a Speed Binder to sniff.

2 is close enough to Green Bay Packaging to invoke a lawsuit.
1 has the most original look. I didn't get the Yamaha tuning fork at all. The Nike swoop without the word Nike says nothing, but it's now one of the most recognizable logos in the world.
3 is nice, but it doesn't grab me. I feel like I've seen it before.
Go with number 1.
What do I win?

#2 looked most like a binder,,,but I guess you may have issues if it's that close to someone else's logo.

#1 is the most visually interesting, but lose the trite business-jargon "solution" tag line. Or use "proactively maximizing your cross functional synergy" instead. That one's always good.
#2 is easy to read but the 3D thing has been done to death. With a little work you could make it look like an open binder instead of a box.
#3 is the one most people will pick.

They came up with a variation on #1 that I thought was interesting.

If you're going to use it on the internet, I'd misspell one of the words. That always gets more attention.

My strategy is to plant a story saying the reason we changed the logo was to remove the overtly Christian reference* from the previous logo.
Believe you me, that one always works.
* The previous version had no overtly Christian reference. Doesn't matter. Give people a reason to be outraged, and they'll take it. Then everyone else will be outraged that the first group is outraged. This is social media gold.

Symbol #1, besides being a stylized S & B, could also be an open binder with a few vertical pages, a sprouting plant to symbolize your dedication to preserving the environment, or the welcoming arms of your friendly sales rep.
And now that you mention it, it's rather an overt crucifix.
I'll never think of binders the same again.

They came up with a variation on #1 that I thought was interesting. Are you sure you want a PEACE symbol for a logo?

I voted #1 as it is the only one that stands out as unique. #2&3 remind me of other common logos.

They came up with a variation on #1 that I thought was interesting. I like this iteration better than the original one. But why isn't the back of the B closed? It doesn't actually look like a b.

Jeff, If you could use a word other than "Binder" it might be easier to design the letter for the revised emblem. Maybe "Gatherer" or "Compiler" or "Paper Gatherer Thing" or "Reaper" (yes I know it is not the same thing as a binder, but I like the letter "R").
As to gaining popularity, say you changed the design because it was too atheistic. Atheists are the current group to pick on and you can get great support from every religion!
I know, I should have gone into marketing!
