Painful. I give up. The Broncos D front line is dominating.

With 9 minutes left and it's a two possession game? I'm wrong about the spread, but I wouldn't give up on the Pats at this point. No sir.

Good for Payton. Nice seeing him in another Super Bowl.

Painful. I give up. The Broncos D front line is dominating. Yeah, Denver gets the win but it wasn't Manning it was their defense.

Playoff games are defense games. Both QBs spent a lot of time on the ground. DEN defense won that one.
Now it's time for go Fitzgerald.

Now that was a thrilling finish, right there.
Go, Panthers!

That missed point after early was the difference. If the Pats had that they only would have needed a point after on the last touchdown instead of having to go for 2 to get to OT. Quarterbackwise it was an even game.

Denver's strength was right opposite New England weakness. NE's O line was patchwork all season. Different alignment week to week and depleted by injuries.

Happy and surprised to see that Pats lose that one. I thought they hung in there in a hostile environment and Brady made some epic plays to give them a shot at the end. As cool a story as it would be to see Peyton get a ring I'm not holding my breath. Carolina is a beast of a team.

I was watching the pre-game before falling asleep on the couch. (I was out till 2:15 last night). It was nearly making me puke all the Manning-Brady hoopla. Like they are the only 2 guys on the field. Everybody who knew anything knew it was the defenses that would be the real stars. Yet the media needs a primadonna to fawn over. And two of them just makes them orgasmic.

Is the Carolina team even human? My god, what monsters.

The New England/Denver games poses a challenge for me. While I like both teams, and while I would love to see Payton do well and hope he does do well, I have become an full-fledged Patriot fan and will be rooting for them with all I have to root with ... but, I have to root quietly, discreetly, and with my mouth in full mute mode as Charlene is a HUGE Peyton fan (she even sings along with him during his Nationwide commercials, well, I guess I do too). So, if I know what's good for me, and I do know what's good for me so there is no "if" involved, every four or five minutes, I say, "Go, Broncos". And when the Pats score, I excuse myself to the bathroom, turn on the fan and faucet, and let out a subdued and wary "Whoop!" Happy marriages require sensitivity, commitment, work, and a dash of prudent self-denial and submissiveness. Kickoff approaches, Go Broncos!Go Pats

I have to give the pretty boy some props. Brady took a lickin' and kept on tickin' and very nearly pulled it out. But did I call those scores or what?

That missed point after early was the difference. If the Pats had that they only would have needed a point after on the last touchdown instead of having to go for 2 to get to OT. Quarterbackwise it was an even game. Right. Or if Brady hadn’t thrown into the dirt so many times, that might have helped too. Or if they could have gotten a few first downs without penalties, that might have helped. Kickers always get the blame. Your kicker gets the blame for one point, a missed point during the first quarter. (Wasn’t it the first quarter?) Imagine how pissed off you’d be if the missed kick happened in the last minute of the game. And then imagine that it happened two weeks in a row. Being a Patriots fan is easy. A Bears fan? Not so much.
