Hi Bob, we have obviously never met. I as well as the others in my situation, have always enjoyed reading about the Jams and all the great times that you and Mary have provided to everyone who attended - just because you could. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Oh Bob.....I just started reading this last night and added a comment. Then things get crazy here again this morning with errands, so I return and the first thing I see is that Mary had passed. It's always too sudden. And there have been many wonderful words extended to you here, I couldn't add much more. Joy's remarks were absolutely wonderful. But you'll read these words and draw what you can from them and in time, they will drift on down the screen. Save this thread, Bob.....print it out. It will be a great reminder of how much you are loved by your fellow Soundholians.
But better yet, remember that all the memories from all the time you had with Mary, dining on the Cuisine de Lomland, throwing those little toys for the dogs incessantly, all the time in the garden, .....all of these are forever. You've got them embedded in your mind and in your heart. Cling to those.
Let us help where we can.
You'll be fine, in time.
Love and peace to you, FC!

Adequate words seem to escape me at times like this, Bob. We're praying that you can find some peace of mind in all the grief that comes with losing someone so dear as Mary.

Would donations to the library in Garrison be appropriate? Anything,Bob. We're not there and feel like we gotta do something. She was so kind to us.

Got a call from Bob last night. Had a good spirit about him, sounded really good. If our conversation is any indication, he's gonna be OK. He also shared something special with me, something quite meaningful.....and that was that Mary was an organ donor. Somewhere sometime, a person will receive the gift of sight. So first chance you get, if you haven't already.....mark that little box on your drivers license.

Just come to next years Thursday night pre Ijam jam . So right. Do it. In the ED I have seen many families take a bit of solace knowing the donated organs Will make a difference.
