The dog is wagging it’s tail. That’s great.

Maybe we need more dogs as guards in schools.
Except they're probably a lot more expensive than a rent-a-cop

Whole lot of blood on the ground when it was all said and done. That guy is luck the (human) cops didn't take their own sweet time running up that hill.
Too bad they don't have a body cam on that dog. That would be the coolest.

Too bad they don't have a body cam on that dog. That would be the coolest. Second cop to get to him punched him a few times just for good measure. While this is not proper police behavior one can understand how they are truly pissed at this asshat for tearing around with no regard for anyone else's safety. Said officer will probably get reprimanded, might even have to take a anger management coarse. But you can bet every cop on the scene probably wished he could have been the one to have at him. The dog, well he's a lucky boy, kicking ass is his job.

I would have simply caught up to the fellow and reasoned with him until he surrendered peacefully. No need for all this violence. And I'll chomp the pants of anyone who disagrees with me on this.

That was one hell of a jump. I don't know what breed that was but since we've had our pit bull we've learned the hard way just how athletic the breed is. Every day when I get home she takes a leap at me like that, either from the back of the living room chair (the one in my picture) or from a standing start in the dining room. Open the door carefully because she's loaded and ready to fire. Usually hits me in the chest. Athletic my ass. It's a whole new level of craziness.

Open the door carefully because she's loaded and ready to fire. Usually hits me in the chest. Athletic my ass. It's a whole new level of craziness. My brother in law, last two dogs were dobermans. They are beautiful creatures, one solid pile of muscle, and crazy energy. They have hardwood floors, and when he was getting the first one, we asked him wouldn't its claws hurt the floor, and he said no, no, super hard finish. The dog would do laps around the inside of the house, going half sideways doing corners on the hardwood in the kitchen. Scarred it badly. They refinished with stuff that must be bullet proof, as it survived. Love the dogs, but we're not dog people, and having to manage something that strong and nutty is beyond me. My sister in law put her foot down after the second one passed away, and said no more. Tired of having her arm nearly dislocated every time they went for a walk. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) So they are getting a "German" pinscher this time, which is the mid size version.

If the bad guy had been Stuart Little, your Chihuahuas could have been just as bad-ass.

Good doggy! And I'm guessing the dog loved every minute of it. He (or she) was in his element.

The cop thumping the guy quite a lot seemed excessive. Yes but consider the stress the cops go through trying to catch this guy before he really hurts someone. Add to that the factor that since he was driving like a madman the cops are ordered to back off hoping he will slow down, and as soon as they did he assaulted a woman and took her car. That reversed the back off order and made it a stop at ASAP issue. The police were right behind him when he ditched the car and they did not follow him up that drive and just run his ass over, they let the dog have him. I can forgive that cop for over reacting when the finally caught that jerk.

I don't think they were thumping him nearly as much as they were getting the dog off.

The cop demonstrated a lack of professional restraint by thumping the jerk . If that was a British cop shown on the TV they might be in trouble.
