Good morning.
We're expecting storms to start rolling through around noon so I think I'll just pass the time on the back porch watching the storms roll through. Supposed to have high winds so I'll have branches to pick in a couple of days. I think these pills are helping a little. I'm sleeping better but still hurt getting out of bed then I take a pill in the morning and I notice when it wears off in the afternoon so it must have been doing something. Haven't heard from physical therapy or the pain management doctor yet so I'll just keep up my Scottish warrior act and try not to look pained. I hate this.
Anyway, have a good day if you can and sorry if you're on the snowy side of this front.

Up way too early. Dog is barking the sun up from her mound in the backyard. Should be a nice day, means more garden work and mowing.
Better days y'all

Breeze turns 12 today. If my dog, Breeze, drank black coffee I’d make sure my mugs fit his paws His dewclaw could wrap ‘round the thumb rest The rim wide enough for his jaws We’d take our coffee out on the back porch Where the red birds would sing us awake As we sat hip to hip on the swinging bench Everything rosy, everything jake I might turn to him and ask “What do you think?” He won’t look. He might flick an ear. And though he has yet to utter a word I know he likes having me there That’s just how things are with me and Breeze Me, a man of too many words And Breeze, the quiet but thoughtful type Just sitting, enjoying the birds

One more day of triple digit heat before a forcasted low comes in and drops the temp to the upper 80s by Monday. The price of gas here has been really high, averaging between $4.10 and 4.30 a gallon. But Costco has actually come down a bit, to 3.69. So this morning I'm running the truck over to fill up the 36 gallon tank. With a tank that big saving a few pennies makes a difference.

We’re going to miss the 7 inches of snow, but still a nasty weekend ahead.

Good morning. It's hotter than normal but not bad. We'll attend a memorial service this morning. Daughter's coming for dinner. All's well. Enjoy your day.

Bike ride this afternoon. Mid 90s means take it slow. The first day of hot riding is rough.

Good morning.
58F/14C Sunny.
Off to breakfast and then Fret Central. On the way home I'll do grocery shopping.
Sure did enjoy lunch with DaBoys yesterday. It was especially nice that Bill could make it, we'll have to do that again soon.

Coming down after a great lunch yesterday.
Went to see the nine o’clock show for 90 year old jazz sax great Benny Golson at Crooners. The seven o’clock show was just getting out. Looked like the evacuation of a nursing home! Reminded me of our Patsy Cline audiences! 😃
By the way it was a great show.

Quickwhileit'sstillmorning.....
Going to do something I haven't done in two years. I'm going to climb aboard my nice big mower and get started on the yard. Last June, my heart Drs sucked the life outta me with IV Lasix. Not this year. I'm not letting them do anything else until at least October, AFTER I go to my 50 year HS reunion. This shall be fun.

Was there ever a fact check of this asshat regarding whether he ever had a clue about how gas prices worked? Or did Obama? Or Chu? Fact check my big, old, hairy butt.
