Good morning.
We have a one-day reprieve from the heat so I'll try to do come mowing today though not all of it. Son and DIL still expect to come down for the 4th but he tore his right bicep moving their couch so she may have to drive. It's not a full break but he's in a brace/cast and in pain. I told them I'd understand if they have to cancel but he says they're coming. They'll be bringing their dog, a border collie, and I usually walk the dog around the perimeter but I don't think I can walk that far so we'll see how this all turns out.
Happy July. Hope y'all can have a good one.

David asked, “What are you listening to?” I was going to reply in his thread but came here instead.
Right now I’m listening to a hospital employee tell me breakfast will be here soon. And just now the neurologist just explained that I’ll be getting ultra sounds today (carotid and heart) and some PT. Then she wants me to see an ENT specialist.
Vertigo symptoms but may be Ménière's disease. I think of it as PITA.
Feel lousy but physically OK. No worries.

Morning, all. Back from a weekend up north, for the opening of the International Wolf Center's new exhibit.
We visited the beach at McCarthy Beach State Park, up nort' not too far from Hibbing. It seems to be a popular place for the locals, and I wondered if little Bobby Zimmerman hung out there in summer.

Hope for good news, Dub. What’s the deal with all of us getting old? Stuff hurts that never did before. Oh well, as long as we have beer and coffee...
Today we leave Emigrant lake and the Airstream rally for Brookings OR, on the coast and the hope for some good seafood somewhere tonight.

Ménière's is pretty unpleasant and diagnosis and treatment both seem to be tough to nail down--my current picking partner went through it a few months back and finally found a treatment that seems to work. Getting there took a while, but he's been OK since Mayo did something to his inner ear that stopped the attacks. So it can be managed.

Good morning
79F/26C Mostly cloudy, T-storms likely.
I'm supposed to take Monday off but I have one et up to get done this morning and then I'll run it back over to Fret Central to be shipped out. Then off to a meeting/lunch of the Chowder Club, where as, a bunch of old guys sit around eating and drinking while pontificating on various subjects that nobody else gives a shit about. Rather fun way to spend a hot afternoon. Should it rain we shall move to the basement, aka Milo's Monster Museum, full of models and dioramas of all the famous monster movies.
Pine Island 87F.
Best wishes Mark.
