Back from a periodontal evaluation. I had previously seen a different periodontist and was scheduled for treatment, but just didn't feel comfortable with the guy. The new guy put me at ease, explained everything, is going to do it all in one visit instead of two, and is going to charge 2/3 as much as the first guy. I'm happy. As happy as I can be when planning oral surgery.

I judge periodontists by how much Novocaine they're willing to use. The more the better.
