Not really. I've always been able to think for myself. The media is just noise. Just curious, how do you get the data that allows you to think for yourself without the media? Oh,you know. My education, experience, Schoolhouse Rock, etc. All the usual suspects. But that's pretty much what's meant by thinking for yourself.

I can think of a certain current political figure who does a lot of thinking for himself without benefit of data. Hell, I've been around DC long enough to know most all of them do that. Politics is not a real data intensive undertaking.
