Probably most of us would like to get tested. But given the current availability of testing, that's not going to happen. To have much chance at all of getting tested, I think you would have to have some serious symptoms or have had direct contact with somebody who is already diagnosed. And if you have less serious symptoms, you are going to to treat those until you get better. And hopefully self-quarantine.

Tomorrow morning I will be swabbed. I'm having an elective procedure done @ the hospital next week. Nothing serious. Just a little roto-router action. And the surgi-center wants me to be declared clear of the virus before they let me enter the facility.
And then there's the hibiclens.

Two days ago a Facebook friend in the UK reported that she'd tested positive--she's just had gall-bladder surgery, so the test was probably part of that process. Her pre- and post-op misery, though profound, so far seems to be gall-bladder related (it was gangrenous), but she also says she knows where she encountered the virus, which means they did some contact tracing. We're waiting to see how her condition develops--she has various health issues that might get tangled up with the virus's behavior.

Once you have the virus it's going to do what it is going to do. Shy of remdesvir and good luck, it's up to the fates.
