It's really a shame they discontinued the cruiser model. <-- a sentiment echoed by the local Honda dealer.

If you test ride the vulc, be sure to do some imperfect pavement. I had to put 600 bucks worth of aftermarket mono shock on my 900 to make it passable on our roads, and it was still a back-breaker. The OEM ride was horrible. The S might be better, or it might not.

Been following them since before the launch. Very cool. If you decide to go to Goshen for one of their Janus days, give me a heads up.

The Halcyon seems to be the most faithful to the bikes of old by virtue of its rigid rear end, Talk about rough ride ! And this: the powerplant. It’s more-or-less a Honda design that is a popular choice of power for a number of applications.
I don't think so.

The OEM ride was horrible. The S might be better, or it might not. The comments from reviewers almost all say it's a bit of a rough ride. There are 3 settings on the rear shock. And the softest setting is still pretty rough, say a couple of reviewers.

There's a guy about 5 miles from me that will rent his 2017 Indian Scout. I still have interest in giving it a try. Weather is getting iffy in the near future. And I'm not sure I want to be tempted by it. I was always scared to play Jeff McManus' Brazilian rosewood Ryan Mission Grand, because I didn't want to fall in love with it. Too scary.
