Bruce, post the FB pick you put up. Looking pretty darn good for an old guy who had his chest cut open.

Ecchymosis taking a while to fade. You're looking well recovered. Feeling good?

Actually feel like shit. Doc. Got no strength. Chest feels like concrete. Everything hurts to move.
Meanwhile, Christmas went down in flames. My son and Mary's twin sister were here to help her out in my absence but being too close for 3 weeks put things on boil. Mary was of course stressed worrying about me but was ordering the other two around like slaves I guess. Mary's twin went back home Thursday and Alan's wife came down yesterday. Mary couldn't find the presents she said she had bought for Alan this morning. Not having been here I don't know what the truth is but Alan and his wife left in a tis leaving Mary in tears. I felt like the easiest thing for me to have done was died when I had the chance. I'll try to get things back to normal tomorrow but I'm really not up to the task. Have a follow-up with my PCP Tuesday afternoon and I'll see what he has to say.

Wound looks great. Give yourself three months. Try to stay positive. You got the shit kicked out of you.

Bruce, Screw presents and Christmas stuff. You are alive and that is much more important than all the other crap. Glad you made it home.

How did the PCP appointment go? Ya feeling a little bit better, I hope. He said I'm just average beat up by the surgery and should be OK. He's getting me an appointment with the cardiologist and with cardio rehab but he'll put it off a couple of weeks to allow me some get better time. All my numbers were good.

Man, Bruce, when your world goes up in smoke, it really goes. Well, take it easy, and hopefully you can smooth the familial wounds along with the physical ones. Lord love a duck. Thank god for scoth o’clock.

I hope it works out well, Bruce. You're the Patriarch, but it's OK for you to let someone else be in charge every once in a while. Let some things go, your family might very well surprise you.

Bruce, I hope that your stamina and general health continue to improve. Whatever 2022 brings your way, there will be many adjustments. Don't panic. Take it one day at a time. Your family must realize that Mary was under a lot of stress and not coping too well. I hope they also realize that they need to support both of you as you adapt to whatever changes need to be made.
