Good morning! A chilly 17 degrees out this morning, might be in the 50s tomorrow, or we might have another blizzard, who knows.
Music practice this afternoon, it'll just be "the boys", Patty can't make it. I put new flat wound strings on the bass yesterday, we'll find out how they sound in the mix today.

Marty, you can stop your spring countdown -- it's already here! From the Strib: The iconic Conny's Creamy Cone (1197 N. Dale St., St. Paul, connyscreamycone.com) has opened for the season. So disregard the fact there is snow in the forecast and not nearly enough 50-degree days — spring has arrived.
Stop by for burgers, hot dogs and a vast variety of cone flavors and ice cream treats daily from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Putting this week's flavored dip (peanut butter) on a twist cone, sitting inside the car with the heat cranked and eyes closed really tight, it might even feel like summer. |

Just missed the bulk of the eastern snow storm. Just an inch or so
here.
There will be a somewhat contentious Vestry this evening due to a
church member with a perceived grievance.
Angst will ensue.
Have good ones.

8F-33F partly cloudy
Did errands yesterday so just shop time today, unless DaWife comes up with something.
Bill is being optimistic. Spring in MN is like a turtle in a shell. It will pop its head out just enough to see what's going on and then pull it back for a while just to be on the safe side. We will get snow on Thursday and friday, a lot, probably not, but that doesn't mean we can't have a full blown blizzard either. It's happened.
6 Days Until Spring, I ain't holding my breath.

I'm not surprised, but only because I was raised in Houston and have lived in Arizona for a long time. A young lady I knew had recently moved from San Diego to Phoenix. She said that she wasn't surprised by how hot it could get but she was surprised by how cold it could get.

Meanwhile in Duluth, prodigious snowfall caught up with the Miller Hill Mall, where part of the roof collapsed this morning. Most affected was an Applebee's restaurant -- look for Sno-cones on their menu soon!  |

My brain kick-starter seems to be on the fritz today. Needing to break my one-cup-a-day restriction on coffee.
My self-diagnosed pink eye appears wrong, or it is simply going away. Perhaps too much time in front of a computer monitor.

Am on day whatever of covid. Now it just feels like a really bad cold, with sneezing, coughing and runny nose that just won’t quit. Susan is on day 3 or so, and is getting hit harder.
On the plus side…Canucks are playing tonight.
