My fingers came with picks attached to them.

Yeah, but you have to wipe off the boogers.

Maybe I will buy a Tone Slab and then we can mail it around every couple of weeks for someone else to try. MAYBE! I shall ponder the possibility.🤔🤔🤔

Sorry LJ. No I didn't but the Poster Child shot was just too good to pass up. Mr. Billiam was, as always, first choice but he doesn't use a pick very often. Besides that you already admitted to having a rather large collection. I have a collection of odd picks, brass, steel, just weird picks. Show me yours and I'll show you mine. I shall deal with you at a later date. We Hoosiers like to keep surprise on our side. One pick can’s contents. There is another.

Okay I'll have to admit yours is a whole lot bigger than mine, take that any way you want to.
But mine is definitely weirder, take that any way you want to.

You can drop it and it will never blend in with the floor. If it does you are in the wrong place and need to leave right away.

My first guitar I owned was a white Squier II strat, no pickguard. My GF at the time was getting a graphic design degree and was working on a project with spray mount. I got a wild hair (hare?) and bought a bunch of picks in different shapes, sizes and colors. I sprayed them with spray mount and stuck them all over the front of the guitar. It turned out pretty darned cool.

Ok, I got a chance to compare a ToneSlab teardrop shaped 1.2 and my Blue Chip TD 40. The thickness was pretty similar. The ToneSlab was slick, pinkish, and glasslike and my Blue Chip was its usual lovely brown color and typically Blue Chipish. The two picks feel a bit different but, playing a Martin D-28 as the Guinea pig guitar, my ears, and the ears of others, could discern no noticeable difference. Blindfold testing, actually eyes closed testing, showed nobody could tell one from the other. BCs, while expensive, are cheaper than ToneSlabs, so I would lean toward the BC unless you like pastel colored material over brown. Interestingly, my acrylic 1.5 @ 3 for $12 picks that D’Addario sent to me for FREE sounded pretty close to both of them. So, if you really want to save money, buy a pack of the D’Addario Acrylux picks for $12, sand the logo off and tell people it’s a ToneSlab. All opinions expressed are my own, which means they are 100% correct. No guitars were harmed conducting these tests. I have been compensated by no one, but feel free to send cookies anytime.
