Have any of you bought from Temu? I have several times. I have seen items come up in Facebook ads and searched for the same item on Temu and found what seems to be an identical item for a third of the price.
Everything has been the expected quality with one exception, a pocket hole jig that didn't have a hole tapped where it should have been. I got a no hassle refund with no return required.
I bought a sport watch for $4 and a dressy watch for $12.
Shipping is free but a little slow. Don't know if China is collecting info on me.

My daughters use it for things like paper tablecloths and cheap decorative stuff for things like an upcoming baby shower or a retirement lunch at work. I remember seeing an Oriental Trader catalog once, and they compared it to that.

The scope of their products is way broader, including tools, drill bits, watches, electric razors, USB cords, electric cord reels, etc. I am not a commissioned agent. But, if you are going to buy Chinese goods, and most of us can't avoid it, you may as well get them as cheaply as possible.

Do they have plastic fingerpicks?

I used to work adjacent to Oriental Trader. Based in Omaha. Very successful, and if we're throwing a big cheap party and need lots of cheap stuff, we go there.

Never heard of Temu. Interesting. They had one commercial in this year's Super Bowl.

I looked for some guitar parts on Temu and found many of them completely void of measurements or specs.

I was looking for that picture. I don’t know if I have those picks around anymore. My guess is I do.

I briefly checked out the Temu website. They have a guitar pickup that looks for all the world like a Baggs Lyric for about $45. Are the Baggs units manufactured in China? Maybe the factory is selling a few on the side? Maybe a cheap knockoff?
I'm not interested in the Baggs Lyric, but it would be tempting to try the cheap Temu unit just for grins. My conscience would prevent it, though. Baggs would be getting ripped off.

Baggs marks it up for design and marketing and storage costs. The Chinese mfr just turns around and sells them outright. All that stuff is made over there anyway.

Yes, I do get it. Umet me in 2002 at the Big Apple gathering.
