I put on an tie my shoes every day, but about twice a month I spend my workday with a bunch of home visits, the protocol for that being to remove your shoes at the door and of course put them on again upon leaving. Most of the time there is nowhere to sit without putting them on again, and I hate that. So today I got a pair of men's skecher's slip on shoes Birkenstocks work great in the summer, but cool weather will be here in a few months. Does anyone else have a shoe similar to this?

No, I am a man. I have man shoes.
I do have a lot of Birks, though. Clogs and sandals and a pair with laces that are almost just for show.

Athletic shoes, tied but never untied, just cram them on.

I'm still wearing, though not exclusively, these sort-of docksiders. They have holes in them, but omigod, they are comfy.

I have one pair. But mostly I wear tie shoes tied loosely soes I can slip them on and off.
I tie them tightly when I play PB or go hiking.

Love me some loafers--penny, Italian, even boat shoes that are loose enough to get into withou unlacing them. (My Topsiders, though, need to be unlaced.) Though for a comfortable fit, they ought to be snug enough to require a shoehorn, if only to preserve the heel section.

Yup
My Clarks loafers. Even in the shop, which is why they are so beat to hell but still going.

I've got one pair, not sure of the brand, that let's me go out in the yard or to the mailbox without much hassle.
But most of my life is spent in Wolverine steel toes. Been that way for 20+ years.

Yup. Life is too short to waste time tying shoes.

When I was doing therapy in patient’s homes, I carried a pair of shoe covers with me. I carried a size larger than my shoe size so they were easy to slip on without sitting down. I did not want to walk around in socks in some homes as they had pets and I didn’t want cat/dog hair on my socks and I thought it wise to keep my shoes on should I need to make a quick exit. There were also some homes that I simply wouldn’t sit down in. Early on in my career I sat in a chair where a patient had experienced incontinence. I too then had wet pants. I learned the hard way and once was enough.

Definitely. I wear Birkenstocks at the office, and often at home. I have a couple pair of penny loafers, too.

Merrell’s in two different styles. Wear them almost all the time. The jungle mocs specifically for the same reason Todd stated. Easy on and off at customers.

I think this question is mostly for folks living in colder climates. When I lived in Hawaii years ago, when not at work, only flip flops were needed. In AZ, in retirement, only flip flops are need. Relative to what we use to spend in WI, in AZ we invest very little on footwear.

Athletic shoes. Permanently tied. Slip off. Slip on. No wax.

I use slip-on Crocs and some sort of slip-on, fleece-lined slippers. In wet weather, it is pull-on "Chelsea" style boots.
