Wrangling this is going to be tricky--C can drive but doesn't like to, so the "stay home for five days" part of the regimen will need to be adjusted. Fortunately, some stores here still will deliver grocery orders to the parking lot, and there's always food delivery--as long as the cash for tips holds out. How about you driving to drive-thrus like Culver's -- can you do that during the first five days? Order away with no tipping expected, using a charge card.

Well, here we go. Last night, runny nose, watery eyes, and coughing. This morning, a positive Covid test. Very sorry, Russell. Take care of each other and get well soon.

During the worst of the Covid anxiety period, we lived on drive-through and take-out food (along with the usual stock of microwavable frozen stuff), so we're used to the protocol. Culver's was a mainstay, along with Bravo Burrito and Olive Garden. (Their lasagna is quite decent and is good for at least two meals.) It's grocery shopping that's going to require some adjusting, though if C remains uninfected, I can drive her to the store and wait in the car while she shops.
Assuming neither of us gets a bad case, we'll manage.

Hoping yours is a mild and short case, Russell. When my wife got it last month she was over it in a week. My case, lasted three weeks and I was miserable. Good luck.

51 hours of overtime in a week?!? The workload sounds horrible, but it must be tripling your take-home pay, right?
