Packer/Bear game tonight. A must win for the Packers. Should be interesting. Scrappy, entertaining game so far. I still am getting used to Tony Romo's gravel voice, but I like his insights.

Made it home safely from Scottsdale a couple of hours ago. Fighting the wind all the way, especially around Picacho Peak. Also rain all the way to that spot. We are unloaded and unpacked and waiting for a break in the rain that has now hit Tucson. We really want to go for a walk after sitting in the car. Supposed to have a hard freeze with lows of 26F tonight and tomorrow night and it's already in the low 40s. I covered our rosemary and basil, but doubt that the basil will make it. We had a good time visiting family and friends for 3 days. But a lot of driving around the metro area, plus there and back. And I did all of it. Mr. H has all but given up driving due to his vision. I did enjoy being able to get around on the freeways, as Tucson only has I-10 running through it and traffic here is terrible. Son-in-law in Cave Creek has a knee replacement scheduled on Wednesday, Mr. H has an eye injection on Tuesday and another medical appointment on Friday, and my choir starts practicing on Thursday, so now was the time.

Thanks for the reminder. No, your basil won't make it and neither will mine. I need to go gather what I can.

Well, the Lion's season is over. Tied for the second best record in the NFL this season. Play their first playoff game ever in Ford Field since it opened in 2002 next Sunday. Hosting the LA Rams and Matt Stafford who played for 12 years with the Lions before going to LA in a trade for Jared Goff and winning the Superbowl there. We in Detroit still love Stafford, but now he must die.
And tomorrow Michigan, where I got my MBA in 1994, plays Washington for the college football championship. Go Blue!
If this continues, I promise to be thoroughly insufferable for only a few months.
Win one before I die!

I just hope they never wear those gray pajamas with the goofy helmet design ever again. They have great colors and one of the best helmet designs in football. Stop screwing around with that classic Lion.

The new logo and color have something to do with a famous in Detroit announcer who drove a Ford Mustang of those colors. The rectangle comes from the Mustang as well. I kinda like them. Though the old Lion was better.

The Bears and Packers showed where they each are in the developmental pecking order of NFL football. Good for Love and the Packers. Now the Bears have to decide if they go total rebuild, . . , again.

Though the old Lion was better. There are so many Mustangs to take your inspiration from. Why did they choose the "concrete mixer" version?
