On it's way to Montana baby!! I didn't think about it when I posted them on Facebook but two of them sold right away. It's fun to think about my pots outliving me.

I'd heard swole. I didn't need to guess wrinkled. I'm getting the hang of it. Dammit, Marty, where's that eyeroll icon when you need it?

While I was googling up images of this guy's house (and mine), images of pots for sale on ebay came up. I only made a few hundred of these (I think LJ has one). Feathered high-fired stoneware. We do have one.

We have a lot of Bauman pottery. I inherited a lot when my sister died, too, and have given some of that to friends so that it can be used, displayed, and appreciated. I don’t want it packed away in a box not seeing sunlight. Barb rotates our stuff depending on the time of year.

Sometimes that's the scary part. I have to remind myself that John intended for someone (like me) to actually drink some coffee out of those mugs, or eat some soup out of those bowls. They're not just behind glass so I can admire them. And don't tell the others, but I do have a favorite mug.

Maybe one day limited production of items will resume. We can always use a new bowl or two.
