The nice man on the radio just mentioned two celebrity birthdays -- Jane Goodall (chimps, not guitars) is 90 today and Marlon Brando is 100, both of them alive! Bill, editorial intervention: Brando died in July of 2004, age 80. Wow, did I hear it that wrong? Or did the announcer screw up? Stand by. On edit, it is indeed his 100th birthday, just that he's not here to celebrate it. Mr. Hammond regrets the error.

No breakfast this morning because we're going to check out a new place for a possible social club lunch. hawaiianbros.com/locations/Yesterday we filed our taxes and paid a large chunk of money. Then spent over $300 at Total Wine. Out of pocket dental appointment for me tomorrow plus the alarm company will be here to replace a motion detector. Coming up Monday is the final payment on a cruise. Then a large estimated tax payment because of having sold some mutual fund shares. Outflow is exceeding inflow. But, hey, we're not worried about paying the bills or buying groceries and don't plan to take it with us. After a few cold and wet days, the high today should be 78. Then 86, 76, 63, and 71. I have quite the pile of clothes in my floordrobe. Everything from shorts to zipover waterproof pants.

I admire your attitude, Renée. It's inspiring. 🙂

Bills are out, pleadings pleaded, and it is about time to go babysitting. Leftover green curry for lunch. Funny how it is spicier the second day.
I might be in the market for a modern pickup. My 2008 4Runner is still going strong, but I would like the new safety equipment, e.g. auto emergency braking, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control, backup camera, rear cross-traffic warning, and the utility of a pickup. I am thinking a Ford Ranger or Toyota Tacoma.

Brando has aged well for a dead guy.

A potter friend of mine apparently knows these guys. If I heard these guys at a bar, I'd sit up and take notice.

I like them. On the first video, I liked the singer's voice and some of the rhythm mods to the song, but some of the chords just seemed off. That is the live guitar and whatever track he is playing to is not in sync.

Your link led me to this song, which I really liked. I had never heard it, through apparently some well known artists have recorded it. Unsung Heroes also have several other videos on YouTube that I will explore.

Could use a haircut though. Nice guitar player. What’s he playing? A thin-line something. Takamine? Yamaha? Except he didn’t hit the octave falsetto note at the end. Still sounded fabulous.

Would a haircut improve his music?
