Overnight, Doug Young sent me a six-minute mp3 from a jam that he and Barb and I did Sunday -- it needs a title! The background info on this is that Doug and I spent about 5 minutes sketching out the basic song structure -- he had the main chords already in mind in DADGAD and I had an idea for a B section, which we puzzled out together before agreeing that there would only be two B's and then we would just jam on the main chords and give Barb plenty of room to jump in on flute whenever she felt like it. I played in Missionary Tuning (EADGBE). Then he turned on the mikes and we took off -- this was the first and only take -- I pretty much like it, although I don't think I wanna listen to it too many times unless it's just in the background, as it really is too long for my taste. But it's FUN! The flute really saves the day, methinks. So, let's have naming ideas, people! www.dougyoungguitar.com/forbill/Jam_mixdown.mp3

I have no ideas on names but it is a lovely piece. You three should be rightly proud. Great recording too. Thanks for sharing.

What guitars are you guys using on the track Bill? I was playing my Goodall, Barb was playing a flute that she bought for about $75 and I THINK Doug was playing his wonderful Claxton, but he has like a brazillion guitars, so I will have to verify that.

A man awoke one morning and walked into the kitchen to find his wife putting a pot of water on the stove. She lit the stove then turned to her husband and said, "oh good! You're awake! Come over here and make love to me!" Surprised but happy, the man complied with his usual vigor and they made love right there in the kitchen. Out of breath afterwards, he said to his wife, "Well that was fun, but I have to ask what was it all about??" Turning back to the stove and taking the water off the fire, she relied, "Oh, my egg timer is broken." Paul
