The time is here to register for the Stringalong Weekend! We have all of our amazing 2008 Staff listed on the Web as well as detailed descriptions of the classes you can take and the registration page is up and ready to go! You can print your own copy right from the website www.StringalongWeekend.com and mail it in. Fliers are in the mail this week and also have a registration form printed right on them. If you know anyone new who would like to receive a Flyer please email me (skyeschmid@aol.com) and I'll send one out. We have a great event planned and the Pre-Stringalong has grown too. Check out all the details for yourself and we look forward to seeing you there. I hope that your summer is lovely, filled with music and dancing, and that you are making plans to celebrate the Stringalong Weekend's 25th year with us October 24-26th, 2008 (Pre-Stringalong starts the 23rd). We are very excited to be back at Olympia Resort for 2008 and hope to see all of you there. I just registered for this forum last night and found this as I was surfing through the various topics here. I'm from Muskego (for those who need help with Wisconsin city names--laughed when I saw Paul's "muck-wanna-go"--that would be "mus-kee-go") and was so surprised to read this was happening in my back yard! I've only been playing guitar for 3 years--is there anything for novices at at gathering such as this?

Come on over to the "Cafe" room ASAP -- that is where all the cool stuff happens. And note that on the Soundhole and General main pages, if you go down to the bottom there is a thingie to click on that gives you the 10 most recent posts from ALL rooms -- that is a very handy way to keep abreast of posts. It's how I found you posting over in this dusty room, actually! I'll make sure Paul sees this -- he is a great guy.

There is always some classes targeted specifically for beginners. This year there are classes by Bruce Emory for beginners. So give the Stringalong a try. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
