Good Morning Good People
Raining again. Michigan farmers are cursing the weather just like Minnesota farmers and Iowa farmers.
I am in shock and denial this morning. Ana Helena, my sweet daughter, my youngest kid, turns 18 today!!! She only thinks she is all grown up.
Off to Kalamazoo to drop off a bushel of reports to a client. Have a fine Friday one and all.

Off to work.
Went to a new open mike in Hernando Beach last night. It's outdoors and it was humid as all gettout last night so that wasn't so hot but when the drier winter season air becomes more prevalent it will be much better.
Have a great day.

Good morning.
No open mics yesterday, but it was so humid that big balls of water were falling from the sky. People were calling it "rain".

Mornin'.....
Kinda numb from reading Marshall's report.
Hope you're better soon, Doug. My upper respiratory crud is about over.....and I'm ready for it to be all the way over.
[edit] OK Tom.....you did it. My stomach just growled loud enough that you probably heard it in Great Bend.

Good morning, all.
Doug, two or three days is what I'm hearing. Best of luck to you, that's gotta not be any fun at all.
Another three and a half inches of rain in the past 24 hours, keeping farmers out of the fields. The corn can wait, but the bean pods will soak up that stuff, burst open and drop the beans on the ground. Fortunately most of the beans are in, but I'm still seeing quite a few fields that aren't.
Off to work.

Tamarack, I can identify. Get better, Doug.
Good morning, all. Cool here. Our temperatures will be similar to those of Toronto. Tomorrow things will get back to something closer to normal.

Day off today. I've already knocked off a couple of chores. Got the truck heater to come on by marking the stem of the temp control with a Sharpie and verifying that it was stuck. Turned it with needle nose pliers and voila--heat. Glad it wasn't the blender control thing which is common on F-150's. The humidifier leak was because the evaporator panel needed changing. We've been in the house two years and I'd never taken the cover off. I'd installed an Aprilaire humidifier in my last house and it had the drip pan and sponge wheel arrangement. I guess now they have an aluminum filter coated with something to absorb water. This one was completely crudded up and I just ordered some new ones online. Now for the wallboard joints and the leaves (which I can just get rid of by running the garden tractor mower).

Morning all. Wet here, as usual. Work seems to be oozing out of the walls these days - I have to write some reports that track how much trouble we're in with the flu taking out employees.
Have a great one, all. Take it easy, Doug.

G'morning. More rain but it should stop today they say. From today's Dallas Morning News: "The Dallas area has had 31 days of rain since Sept. 1, including 19 this month, with the official rainfall total topping 14.5 inches at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport." I have lived in Texas all of my 72 years of life and have never seen rain like this. When I was in High School the drought was so bad I could walk across the lake that held the drinking water for San Angelo where I grew up. Have a nice day. Just now I saw the sun.

Headache wakes me up in the morning. Same symptoms you have, Doug. My doc said to take at least two weeks off work. So now I'm on medical leave.

Day off so I slept until 12. I'm off for a late lunch and then to the hills for a weekend of guns, guitars (if I still remember how to play) and firewater.
