If you know her office email address, you can do some nastiness from home. Go to as many adult websites you can that offer free memberships (playboy comes to mind) and set up accounts using her email address. Political groups, charities, PACs, dummy facebook pages, all sorts of things. Link them all to her email address. Before long, her office email spam filter will be burried. If she doesn't have a spam filter, then her inbox will be burried. But whatever you do, do it from the bypass website I linked to earlier so it won't trace back to your home IP address.

Sounds like a funny idea, Tramp. Kind of along the lines of when we used to order pizzas for people. But I'm not touching that one.

Problem is, harassing someone like that is liable cause as much pain as anything.
We had problem people at work over the years, mostly in the union, where the company was afraid to touch them. They finally took the tough approach, and they're mostly gone - FIOFO, was the unspoken motto. It was not pleasant, but at least now people know they have to at least try.

Tramp brings up a good point. If the definition of harassment in your workplace includes "purposely making the work environment uncomfortable" then a flurry of complaints from several different people might give the brass the excuse they need to hit the eject button.
But what do I know, I'm not there.

FIOFO?
I almost hate to say it, but that woman deserves compassion. Something in her life has led her to act this way, and it can't have been a good thing.
I say leave it alone, but DOCUMENT EVERY SINGLE CONTACT you have with her - dates, times, etc. Like if she walks by your office and says something. If you see her in the parking lot. CYA.

Oh Todd...I feel your pain!! It just blows my mind that such toxic personalities are allowed to continue to infect the work place....SHE'S the problem...a fact that is obviously known by your superiors (thus the warnings issued to you and your colleague, Jim) yet she is not called on the carpet for anything with the demand that she change her behavior. Unfortunately this cockroach has found a safe dark corner in your school district. We had a principal like that once (she was brought down to the elementary school because she was a problem at the high school where she had been assistant principal)...we finally all got so fed up we started turning the tables...calling a spade a spade to the superintendent whenever she caused a problem. Finally the higher-ups got tired of hearing about this woman all the time and she was "asked to retire". It takes a united effort though...safety in numbers. I think Resolve is onto something here. You can file a complaint that she is "creating a hostile work environment" which is a no-no and is included under the harassment training at the University of California. You can also hyper-document every encounter you have with her and forward it to the dean, until the admin gets sick of it and does something.
