That is funny, Shannon. Reminds me of a comment about a sexual experience by a woman I knew years ago...she said that because of the LSD, she wasn't sure what exactly had occurred.

OK, I'll show my ignorance about bass guitars. What is that? It looks like my Epiphone Dot, which looks like a Gibson ES-335. It even has the same "vintage sunburst" finish as my Epiphone. And what's the scale length?
Got surprised by a little rain in the middle of the night and today's overcast skies. Yesterday I was too warm on my walk and was thinking about digging out the shorts. This morning I've been fiddling around on the mandolin and postponing housework.

Don't know the specific model, but it has a floating bridge and a trapeze tail piece, so it's hollow without a 2x4 down the middle like a 335 or dot.
PS - More like a 330 which is hollow. (Those solid 335s weight a ton. Great sustain. But shoulder breakers.)

Good morning, all. Resolve, I thought you had resolved not to take this job. I know you'll enjoy it once you're there. Todd I have been working 2 days a week as an S/L sub at a school downtown for the past few weeks. I do enjoy this job. The SLPs who work here do all the planning and I just come in and do that work while they go do testing. The job that caused some angst on my part is a different one...I was contacted by an agency last week to take a 3 day a week position from April til the end of the school year. They pay more than what I am getting paid in this sub job I'm doing now but it's a full-fledged SLP position which means I am responsible for all the planning and paperwork plus travel to 3 schools each day. I did turn the job down but they came back with another offer so it's still on the table.... I was counting on this sub position (which is a week to week arrangement so there is no commitment) to wind down after Easter. Well, back to work for me, break's over! |

Let me be clear: I am a superstitious dinosaur who believes that sex should take place within marriage. However, if I were going to have, um, an encounter such as this lad anticipated, I would want to be sober enough to enjoy it and remember it. But that's just me.
